The happenings!
"WE LOVE BEING BUSY, HERE'S WHAT'S BEEN GOING ON!"
I enjoyed meeting with a lovely bride and her mother yesterday! We created a look with her paper ensemble that she will incorporate with her entire wedding day! The lovely couple will be married on a Friday evening in December. Her look is along a vintage shabby chic and it is beautiful. I am working on an ensemble that will have this look from the save the dates, to the invitations, programs, napkins, favor bags, and more!
"Sip & See"
This Saturday I am honored to be hosting a "Sip & See" with some dear friends of mine as we welcome a dear friend's precious baby girl! Our morning will be complete with pink cupcakes from our great friends at the Frosted Cupcake, mason jars with pink lemonade and more! There's always tons of laughter in the room with this great group and I can't wait to post pics of the adorable invitations I did for this special occasion! "STAY TUNED!"
"Program, get your program"
I enjoyed working with a sweet couple from Charleston, SC and assisting them with their wedding programs. They chose a white linen paper with black font in thermography. The font was a simple script on the front and block inside. It turned out simply stunning! I always love a simple black and white color combo.

"Take the Cake"
We have always enjoyed having our childrens birthday parties at our home. This year we found a great park here in Greenville and Olivia loved the idea of having a morning party at the park. We suggested morning since it's typically so hot and humid in South Carolina in July. This year on the date of her party, July 16th, we had a "cold front" come through and we enjoyed an overcast sky with 65 degree temps! Who knew we would need the Starbucks coffee boxes to keep us warm in July!
This party was tons of fun. Olivia turned 6, and we invited lots of friends to join us at the park. I sent out "Take the Cake" invitations that have soft pink polka dots, a big tree with cupcakes! I thought it looked like the big tree would have her party under at the park and we planned to serve cupcakes.
My very talented Mother-In-Law baked cupcakes to match the invitation. Some cupcakes had trees with a flower, some were pink with flowers. They were not only beautiful, they were absolutely delicious!
The party began at 10 am and we had fruit, mini sausage rolls, and Starbucks coffee boxes for guests to enjoy. We lined up picnic tables under a big tree and set up 2 canopies. The kids had a ball playing together on the park playground. We let the birthday girl open her gifts, had cupcakes and snacks and then I had bubble wands and a bubble machine for all the kids to enjoy.
As party favors, each guests received a jar or mini clear paint can filled w/ Bubble gum balls. Each favor included an outside label that stated, " Thanks for coming to my party, Love, Olivia!"
If you are thinking of doing a party in the park, I highly recommend. If you would like to order products such as personalized foam cups, invitations, or favors, & much more, visit our online paperie! http://www.palpapers.com/ or email me at shopping@palpapers.com
